Answers about bookings, pricing and how NZVisit.com works with our booking partner, GetYourGuide. Can't find what you need? Contact us.
No. NZVisit.com is a travel guide — every "Book" button hands you off to GetYourGuide, and your booking, payment, ticket and confirmation email all come from GetYourGuide, not from us. We don’t hold your card details or set the prices.
Through GetYourGuide, using the confirmation email they sent you when you booked. Because we’re not the merchant of record, we can’t look up, change or cancel a booking on our side — GetYourGuide’s support team and each listing’s cancellation policy are the only place that can happen.
Tour prices are set and updated live by GetYourGuide and the individual operators, not by us. The currency switcher in the top nav only changes the display currency; it doesn’t change what you’re actually charged, which is billed in the currency GetYourGuide uses at checkout.
Not yet — it’s currently decorative. Availability by date needs GetYourGuide’s full booking flow, which opens once you click through to a specific tour.
It’s a live feed from Open-Meteo, refreshed on page load, so it reflects real current conditions and a short forecast for that destination — not a static estimate. If the feed is briefly unavailable the rest of the page still works fine.
Yes — use the "North Island" / "South Island" filters in the nav, or browse all destinations from the Destinations menu. Guides span both islands, from Auckland and Rotorua to Queenstown and Milford Sound.
Email us at [email protected] with the page and what looks off. The guides are researched and written in-house, so corrections go straight to whoever maintains that content.
Not yet — that’s on our roadmap but isn’t live. Every bookable tour and activity currently on the site comes through our GetYourGuide widgets.
