Eichardt's Private Hotel
A small, historic luxury hotel on the Queenstown waterfront, a few steps from the lake and the town centre.
Eichardt’s sits at 2 Marine Parade, directly on the lake, and the building traces its history back to the early gold-rush years. It is the reverse of a big resort: a small number of rooms, a private-hotel feel, and a position that puts the whole of central Queenstown within a few minutes’ walk.
There are two venues on site, Eichardt’s Grille and Eichardt’s Bar (the bar is open from 11:00 to 23:00 daily). Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is at 11:00. There is no pool, and pets are not allowed.
It is a good fit if you want to be in the middle of Queenstown without a car, for a special occasion or a short stay built around the lake. If you want a pool, a kitchen or space for a family, look at The Rees instead.
